Tempered and multi-pane configurations

The source lists tempered glass and double or triple tempered configurations. A buyer schedule should define each pane, the sequence, cavity details, treatment, edge and marking requirements. Writing only “double glass” or “triple glass” leaves the quotation open to different interpretations.

Laminated, Low-E, reflective and tinted glass

These are separate specification choices in the published table. For laminated glass, identify the pane and interlayer build-up. For Low-E, reflective or tinted glass, state the approved appearance reference, coating or tint location, viewing side and physical-sample acceptance method. The public table does not assign one universal performance value to these options.

Clarify the 5 mm + 15Ar + 5 mm Notation

The official specification table prints “5 mm + 15Ar + 5 mm” for a double-glazing tempered option. Preserve the source notation when requesting a quotation, but ask Rogenilan to define every component in writing. Do not assume a cavity fill, spacer, seal, coating or performance result unless the returned documents state it.

Where a project requires thermal, acoustic, safety or regulatory evidence, list that requirement separately. Ask for documents applicable to the quoted glass and complete door configuration rather than relying on a glass-family label.

Coordinate Glass with Linkage and Panel Layout

Start with structural openings, door marks, quantities and the required clear opening. Select the two-track or three-rail arrangement, number every moving and fixed panel, and show the linkage sequence. Then assign the approved glass build-up to each panel and coordinate it with the returned profile and section schedule.

Review physical samples for color, reflection and visual consistency under relevant lighting. Record the approved reference, coating orientation and viewing side. The white frame in the illustrative scene reflects the preferred visual direction for this content; it is not a claim that white is the only standard finish.

Glass Specification and Quotation Factors

Quotation differences can reflect pane build-up, processing, laminate or coating choice, tint, panel size, track layout, quantity, finish, sample work, required documents, protective packing, destination and delivery basis. Normalize these inputs before comparing supplier returns.

Ask each quotation to identify the proposed build-up, included samples or documents, substitutions, exclusions and drawing revision. A broad glass-family label and a fully defined project glass schedule are not equivalent scopes.
