RGNL-93 / Bathroom Procurement Review

Aluminum Windows China Supplier Bathroom Privacy Review

For aluminum bathroom windows, approve the sightlines and glass sample before approving the order. RGNL-93 lists several glazing and opening options, but these do not establish a universal privacy result. Assess the proposed room, lighting and open-sash conditions separately.

Separate the Product From the Privacy Requirement

The official RGNL-93 product page lists tinted, reflective, laminated and Low-E glazing among its choices. It does not publish a bathroom privacy rating, an obscurity grade or a guarantee that people outside cannot see through the proposed unit.

Start with a room-specific requirement rather than ordering “privacy glass.” Identify the area needing screening, relevant outside viewpoints and when the bathroom will be used. Treat this as an application for review, not confirmation that every RGNL-93 configuration suits a wet room or local building requirements.

Quick Specs and Unresolved Decisions

Verified basis Order-specific decision
RGNL-93; 93 mm system width Confirm sections and the proposed finished opening.
6060-T6 aluminum profile Confirm the selected frame and finish specification.
Double/triple tempered, laminated, Low-E, reflective and tinted glass listed Select an exact assembly; obtain its sample and supporting documents.
Inward, tilt-and-turn, outward and awning modes listed Review one selected mode and its actual open position.

Frosted glass, privacy films and switchable glass are not established by this product table. Ask about availability before adding them to an order. No optical percentage, production size limit or privacy claim is inferred here.

Compare What Each Proposal Actually Includes

Compare proposals by evidence, not by a darker-looking photograph. A reflective or tinted option still needs an identifiable sample. A laminated or Low-E description also needs the exact assembly; its name alone does not answer the screening requirement.

If separate blinds or another room-side screen are proposed, record them as a separate scope unless expressly included. Review their interaction with the sash and handle. Keep the ventilation position on the comparison sheet: approval with the window closed does not settle the open-window sightline.

A Bathroom Privacy Review Sheet

Use a harmless object or printed test pattern instead of photographing an occupant. Agree observation locations and the required result before reviewing samples. Record distances and heights from the project survey, not assumed standard dimensions.

Review condition Record before approval
Daylight, sash closed Outside viewpoint, sample ID and what remains distinguishable.
Room lights on after dark Repeat the agreed viewpoints; record the result separately.
Selected ventilation position Visible opening, line of sight and any additional screen required.
Neighboring elevated viewpoint Surveyed level, viewing direction and unresolved areas.
Room-side screen in use Coverage, handle access and who supplies the screen.

For example, mark a hypothetical opening B-01 “pending” if only its daylight sample has been reviewed. Do not change it to approved because another bathroom uses the same glass name. Record the missing night review, responsible person and required evidence. This is an editorial example, not a customer project or test result.

Retain the accepted sample reference alongside the room elevation. If the glazing proposal changes, return the affected review rows for approval rather than carrying the previous decision forward automatically.

Check the Room, Not Just the Glass

Show the sill level, vanity, shower enclosure, walls and neighboring openings on a marked elevation. Check the chosen sash movement against the actual fixtures. Keep operation, cleaning access, splash exposure and perimeter detailing as separate approval questions.

Ask the project designer to define applicable safety and installation requirements. Request the relevant evidence for the offered configuration. A privacy sample review is not a substitute for structural, thermal, water-management or safety verification.

Make the Quotation Comparable

No verified fixed bathroom-window price is available. Ask for separate lines for the window assembly, proposed glass, sample work, agreed mock-up, accessories and packing. Identify whether additional screening belongs to the window order or another trade.

Keep dimensions, quantities and the approved sample reference consistent across revisions. A changed glass assembly or added review requirement should appear explicitly in the revised quotation, with its availability and timing confirmed rather than assumed.

RFQ Information to Send

  • Opening IDs, quantities, dimensions and project location.
  • Bathroom elevation, fixture positions and outside viewpoints.
  • Selected opening mode and intended ventilation position.
  • Required privacy outcome and day/night review conditions.
  • Glass proposal, sample reference and outstanding decisions.
  • Frame finish sample, accessory scope and delivery destination.

Request a response against each unresolved item. Leave unconfirmed options visibly pending; a complete-looking quotation should not conceal missing privacy evidence.

FAQ

Does tinted or reflective glass guarantee bathroom privacy?

The RGNL-93 table makes no such guarantee. Request an identifiable sample and review the agreed lighting conditions and viewpoints before accepting a proposal.

Can I order frosted glass as a confirmed standard option?

Not from the published table alone. Ask Rogenilan to confirm availability, assembly and sample requirements in writing before including it.

Can one approval cover every bathroom?

Only if the responsible project team accepts the same relevant conditions. Different viewpoints, opening positions or room layouts should remain separate review entries.

What happens if the sample is unacceptable?

Keep the affected item pending. Request a revised, available proposal or review additional screening with the designer, then repeat the affected checks before release.
